A biomechanical assessment to discover the root cause of injury or pain, and basic at-home therapeutic exercises to help restore movement.
This is a hands-on modality using gentle sustained pressure to release tight areas and restore motion. Trigger Point Therapy is best used for deep tissue work surrounding the hips such as the glutes and iliopsoas.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). IASTM treatment utilizes a tool to break up scar tissue at an injury site to trigger a focal inflammatory response. This inflammation leads to the absorption of scar tissue and the production of new collagen to repair the injury site. Combined with proper movement, stretching, and therapy, the body restores normal tissue structure and function. The effects of IASTM include pain relief, increased flexibility, increased strength, enhanced recovery, and in most cases resolution of symptoms.
Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is a method of stretching to maximize flexibility by “tricking” the nervous system.
One on one exercises to treat muscle imbalances using body weight or small dumbbells and resistance bands.
Using plastic cups with suction, cupping helps release restrictions between muscle tissue and fascia, reducing pain and inflammation while increasing blood flow, mobility, and flexibility. A modality best used for neck, shoulder, back, and hip issues.
Combine 2 therapies in an hour. Doesn’t include Injury Evaluation. Ex Thera ex + cupping or Hwave+thera ex
These DAM sessions are perfect for individuals having trouble with Olympic lifts, power lifts, gymnastics skills, or running efficiency. They consist of initial video analysis with the CoachNow app and the option of 6 or 12 virtual sessions (including voice-over corrections on video and programming to fix dysfunction) or in-person 20-minute sessions with programming for follow-up to correct your movement dysfunction.
These DAM sessions are designed for individuals having problems with joint/tissue restrictions and need to focus on single joint restrictions before shifting back to performance. A detailed joint/tissue assessment will be performed with some video analysis to show tissue asymmetries. You’ll receive individualized programming addressing the joint/tissue restrictions and self mobilization/stretching techniques.
These DAM sessions are designed for individuals wanting to increase their performance in a lift but have restrictions preventing them from positions important for success. They will benefit from both performance and tissue/joint restriction sessions, ultimately leading to greater movement efficiency resulting in bigger lifts!
